As Analytical Design Engineer, responsible to the Design Team Leader for provision of engineering service and expertise to both internal and external clients. This will involve design, calculations, FEA and drawings.

Create designs in 3D including detailed models and drawings in support of the company&amp;#39;s projects and products, using Solidworks software
Perform hand calculations and FEA to create and verify equipment design
Check and approve calculations/FEA produced by other members of the team

Experienced Tendering Project Manager 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of commercial / technical proposals, the monitoring of project performance and cost, as well as the direct control of specific offshore geotechnical / wire-line geophysical projects. 

Reporting into the Commercial Manager this role will be predominantly office based and your key responsibilities will include: 
Estimating work 
Writing of commercial and technical proposals

Due to continued growth in this area they are seeking an Instrument Technician to join the team at their Great Yarmouth facility.

The job of the appointed instrument technician will be to assist the company instrument technicians with the assembly, service and test of components/modules specified in the production of Wellhead Control Systems using associated test equipment and tools.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand and, at all times, comply with the instructions/requirements specified in published company Manufacturing Quality Systems and associated procedure documentation.

Read/understand the content of schematic/production drawings and assist in the planning of layout, fitting and tube take offs.

Assemble/operate test equipment, diagnose component/system/procedural faults and take the necessary remedial action.

Operate/use equipment provided within the production area and report any faults arising.

Act as a member of a designated production team, as required.

Maintain a high level of personal discipline in the area of timekeeping, work performance and general conduct.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the production area at all times.

Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Ideally should possess recognised formal training, i.e. Apprenticeship. Counter balance lift truck operator license, if appropriate.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Understanding of mechanical panel layout, assembly and testing.

PREFERRED

Knowledge of small bore tubing/pneumatic/hydraulic.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Proven track record in small panel assembly.
